Hi! We’re back again–this time to recap what we’ve learned so far.
We started out this course by describing WHY you should become more tech savvy. And you know that one of the biggest hurdles to learning about health and healthcare decisions is the ability to access and use technology.
Now, here you are. We want to congratulate you for taking key steps to becoming a tech-savvy patient to give you more confidence on your healthcare journey.
I know Quincy and I have covered a lot, so let’s review some of what you’ve learned.
You’ve become more comfortable with technology by learning how to:
And we taught you how to put your mobile devices to work for you and your health, using apps and tools that educate, entertain and add convenience to your life.
We went on to explain the benefits of an online support community and showed you how to join social media networks to connect with family, friends and resources.
We also covered hashtags, likes and other online terms to help you navigate the various social media networks.
